On a coast of huge
ocean there is a hut, in which lives young, beautiful and naivety shy girl
called Marimar. She lives not alone, with her grandmother and grandfather.
Because of poverty Marimar is decided once on impudent act: to steal something
to eat in a garden of the rich farmstead.But she was not lucky: |
Marimar has caught the
steward of farmstead. By seeing beauty of the girl, he begins to make unpleasant
hints and tried to embrace her. Marimar is rescueed by the host of farmstead
Sergio. By seeing Sergio, Marimar falls in love from the first sight. At
Sergio were bad mutual relations with his father and with father's wife
Angelica. They do not want to return Sergio his part of farmstead and money.
To spite them Sergio decides to marry enamoured of him and silly Marimar.
Angelica is in fury and invents every possible methods to be saved from
shy girl, to drive out her from the house. Sergio understands, that he
has made an error, by marrying without love. And by not achieving anything
from the father, he leaves for capital, where him offer the favourable
contract. He asks the father to take care about Marimar, promises to send
him money for Marimar, that she could purchase the house, and he constrains
the promising, but Sergio's father under pressure of wive doesn't make
anything, that promised to the son. Marimar, by remaining alone, learns,
that she is pregnant. This fact does not stop Angelica, she goes on crimes
to cause a pain and sufferings to Marimar. Angelica achieves, that Marimar
have put in prison, orders to burn her hut, where die in a fire the grandfather
and grandmother of Marimar. Spiritually bankrupt, offended, unfortunate
Marimar leaves for capital, where is arranged as a servant in the rich
house. The host of this house actually is the father of Marimar, but she
does not know it yet, her father, too. When all is become clear and Marimar
finds the father, her father dies. She again remains alone, but now she
is not more unfortunate wretched girl, that she was absolutely recently.
Now she turns to rich secular lady, changes a name.

pain, which they have caused to her. For this vengeance at Marimar there
are now all means and possibilities: money, cunning, useful familiarities.
She begins to result the plan of vengeance in an operation, but does not
take into account, that inside she has remained former Marimar, kind, sympathetic,
disinterested. She still loves Sergio and soon should give rise from him
the child...
